I went to the Telstra shop today at Knox. I booked an appointment for 4.30 pm at 3.40 pm with a sour faced young lady I later found out was the store manager. She asked for my name and number which I supplied and was of the understanding that She would call when my appointment was ready as they do with every other Telstra store I have been to. Arrived back at the store at 5.10 pm and I got the dirtiest look from the manager. She argued that I was supposed to have arrived at 4.30 pm regardless. I then got Joseph to help with my enquiry. I was assured that my problem with my email had been fixed ( it hasn’t been , and now 7 weeks without email!!! ). Back to Chirnside Park store for me, never again at Knox , disgraceful customer service and judging by the google reviews, I won’t be the last to leave this type of review. Getting closer to closing all my Telstra accounts.

I attended the knox store on 21/8/2024 45 mins before closing. I came to get signed up with a new phone and plan. I was greeted by emer, (I hope I spelt the right). They were busy and close to closing time. She made me feel so welcome and ran through everything with me making the move was exciting and easy. She asked lot of questions making sure I new what I was doing and also helped with a phone case and screen protecter and transferred my files onto my new phone. By the time I left I was up and running. She didn't even batter an eyelid with the time frame we had before closing and took amazing care of me. Thank you for my experience. I also got the watch for free with the plan that was a huge bonus

Hey Greg from HQ, thank you for your response.
I have to ask the question What is so hard in giving me a call or someone else that may help me. I'm only wanting a call because I've suffered many times trying to get put thru to the right department whereas I only have one department so chances are that you'll get put thru to me each and every time. I'm sorry if I sound a bit sarcastic but do you blame me, I've been given the run around for years and even now no one wants to step forward and help me, I just get the same old rhetoric. Don't bother us however, here's a link where you may get someone to help you but at least you become their problem. I must admit I did think that I had finally found someone within Telstra that would and could help me. I guess that I will just go back and try and reason with the Telstra Bots.

Continuing from my earlier review I couldn't add my reply so I had to post here.

Hey Lauren thank you for your response. I'm not sure if I'm in the correct forum, I tried to access my previous review but wasn't able to. As much as I appreciate your offer to help me, it seems that everyone has forgotten the fact that I'm paralysed and housebound so therefore I can't attend at your store. This has been my message for all those years which I have made this quite clear from the beginning. I need someone to contact me and advise me on what products that I may need. Please don't send me to the terrible Bots. I need to speak with a real person. You seem to be able to get a person to contact me if I'm a couple of days late paying my account, unfortunately they couldn't help me either. Do you really think my situation is acceptable waiting all these years, listening to all the excuses, promise of a handset for all the inconvenience caused which never happened for several reasons, then promised again for not sending one out previously which they promised to get on it straight away this also never happened and thus went on several more times. I know that I'm just a little fish in the scheme of things and don't warrant the attention you provide to your big accounts, I'm just an annoying buzz in the background that you hope will just give up and go away.
I'll say it again so there can't be any confusion, I'm paralysed and housebound so therefore I can't attend at your store or any other Telstra Store and would like to speak with someone who can advise me on what products I need. And I still would love the handset promised as my current one is held together with blue tack and sticky tape.

Also I think that I may originally posted my review under a different account. I don't know how that would happen.

My wife attened the knox city store today and was treated extremely poorly by the young lady who served her. She recieved no customer service, the staff member was very arrogant, short and be littled my wife and refused to assist my wife with our enquiry. If this is the type of customer service you condone is your business it is a disgrace. We have had a account with telstra for over 30 years and to be treated this way we are now considering finding another plan with another provider.
The staff member refused to tell us her name.
The customer service culture of this store is a disgrace and needs to be looked into.

you ring up to make an appointment, they advice on the message bank you don't need to make one for sim card replacement, l call in it's a minimum 45 minute wait, why both advertising if you don't need to make an appointment, left message on message bank, l highly doubt that anyone will get back as well. would waist your time going there unless you have a minimum 1 hour up your sleeve for a simple task.

l Bought a new phone Prepaid to replace older phone that was easy but like always being on disability and suffering from anxiety for the past 19yrs l asked if the gentleman could help set it up for me said no we don't do that anymore and haven't done since my last purchase 2/3yrs ago well that's ashame so Telstra take your money and offer absolutely No help because I chose to purchase a Prepaid and not a planner l am seriously fed up l think it's unfair not to get the help we all need not just for those whom purchase phones with a plan why bother having a store with staff considering the staff look like they have alot of time on their just standing around. Now l'm not sure what to do with this new phone l just bought myself on Saturday for my 59th birthday which is tomorrow yay happy friggin birthday to me what a waste of money.
