The snow-cones were fantastic. I come from Lake Charles, Louisiana and the unique flavors are even better than where I am from. The custom flavors like the dinosaur was hitting. If I could only take this place back to Louisiana.... Thank you so much Kevin. Will see you next time!

It’s been hot this summer and I was craving shaved ice. I went to Fluffy’s Sno-Balls and I was soooo glad I did. There is a very small
parking lot there, but I parked on the street, in the neighborhood. There was plenty of street parking. The worker behind the register was friendly and extremely patient while I decided if I wanted condensed milk or not (spoiler alert; I got condensed milk) and I got a huge amount of delicious shaved ice for under $9. I ended up saving 1/2 for later and adding some tajin to it, which was delicious.

The business has a New Orleans theme and one can buy cans of Cafe Du Monde there. I will definitely be going back.

Amazing customer service! My husband and I walked in with our twins and he immediately greeted us and even gave our girls lollipops.He introduced us to the menu and told us a few things about his menu. He was amazing and so kind. We ordered a few things he recommended and couldn’t of been happier. We will definitely be back. The cookies and cream (b-rocka) snowball that my husband got was AMAZING! It’s ice but also tastes just like a creamy ice cream. We also got a classic strawberry that was great! And finally we got a puebla-snow ball that has a great little spice to it that I loved. I hope you can open more shops especially one in oc closer to us!!! You are doing an amazing job!! Thank you so much for the amazing treats and the even more amazing customer service!

I've never had shaved ice this good, in fact, I never knew shaved ice could taste this good. Loved the decor and New Orleans history book hanging around on the counter, definitely learned some facts.

It's a really fun shop with lots of fun flavors. The spoons even change color while you're eating your cone so that was a neat touch. Snow cones aren't my most favorite thing in the world but this was very enjoyable.

Parking wasn't that clear but a block up the street there's metered street parking I stopped at really quick. The store definitely had a fun jazzy new Orleans vibe to it and all the servers seemed really friendly. Kinda felt like some great old fashioned southern hospitality. It wasn't too busy but people were definitely trickling in and out during this weekday afternoon.

I'd recommend it on a hot day and you're in the mood for a treat other than ice cream.

I visited Fluffy’s while on vacation. The owner was super sweet, welcoming and helpful. He lets you try as many as flavors as you like. They were all so delicious, fresh and the ice was super soft! My overall experience was awesome and whenever I visit LA again I have to stop here.

I recently discovered a fantastic snowball shop that transported me back to my six years living in New Orleans. The authenticity is undeniable, with staff who are true New Orleanians and mentioned sharing partnerships with D9 and HBCUs. The snowball itself was a delight—the ice was perfectly shaved and melted in my mouth, making it a refreshing treat just in time for summer's end. The stand boasts a vast array of flavors;I played it safe with a pink lemonade and sour apple mix, while my brother opted for a strawberry watermelon flavor. They even offer samples in charming metal cups, adding an extra special touch. It was also fun to see my spoon change colors in the cup, adding a playful element to the experience. The conversations with the staff were enjoyable and added to the overall wonderful experience. Plus, it's Black-owned, which makes supporting it even more meaningful. The only downside is the small parking lot, but it's a minor inconvenience for such a gem. Highly recommend!

Came here with my daughter and fell in love with the place! I had the privilege of meeting the owner and he is super sweet I felt bad ordering such a simple order after he gave a whole spiel about the different flavors he has to offer. The shaved ice was amazing! Between the customer service and all the yummy flavors I will definitely be back for more. A little pricey compared to other stores but it’s definitely worth it.
