They take good care of their patients, but are painfully slow. My appointments are always first thing in the morning and they are always running late. Thirty minutes to an hour every time. The doctor come slowly strolling in 35 minutes after my scheduled appointment every time. Your patients are expected to be on time why don't you show us the same respect, please?

I was referred to this practice by my optometrist and they were able to get me in same day - that’s where the positivity ends. My entire experience at this office was completely bizarre. The employees couldn’t figure out how to operate their machines and kept loudly complaining to each other about how things weren’t working and how they couldn’t remember their passwords. One of the employees kept using the “R” word when talking to me about the devices, which was quite offensive, inappropriate, and unprofessional (to say the very least). Hearing a healthcare professional use such brazen ableist language is jarring and off-putting and really just ruined any trust I had in this office. I only spoke with the doctor for about 8 minutes - he barely even made eye contact and left the door open throughout the entire appointment. He told me to find a doctor closer to where I live and didn’t really give me any type of information - all of this is frustrating but I can handle it; if bedside manner is top of your list, then you would probably be uncomfortable with this doctor but I am mainly just concerned with receiving accurate information. The unprofessionalism of the staff is really what is preventing me from writing a positive (or even just a neutral) review. When I left I didn’t even receive any type of paperwork or any direction on how to proceed.

Update - I received a called from Jennifer and she was very apologetic and helpful. I am confident my concerns were taken seriously and the individual who used the offensive language will be followed up with appropriately. I'm adding stars for the recovery.

I wanted to share my experience because I had the most wonderful outcome on the eye surgery I had. I had a macular hole. Dr Berger did the surgery and I am thankful that I went from 20/50 vision in that eye to 20/20. I am forever grateful!

Took my mom in to see Dr.Berger yesterday and it had to be the worst eye dr we’ve ever seen. My mom needed to go due to complications with a previous procedure and one eye was messing up. He basically said everyone who referred her was crazy and he flat out ignored my mom when she was asking questions. He probably spent a total of 5 minutes in the room.
