I ordered a specialty cable for my retro console and it works like a dream. It arrived promptly. The company's newsletter includes useful information and discount announcements. I like that they share news about various efforts to sustain, enhance and expand retro game systems.

Two years and no update on the card I ordered from you guys. Wonder why you cannot be straight with me about the lack of any updates (no your website isn't good enough, and a stupid email with "rondo credits" is not good enough) or how you can hold over 300 dollars and not give any guarantee of a date of shipment. Send me the card or give me back my money. My bank credit card dispute should hopefully wake you up from your slumber that I'm not happy.

Over the years, I've placed plenty of orders through Castlemania Games, and have never had an issue. Recently, they've been adjusting their business, combining with Rondo Products, creating other sites for different products, etcetera, so they're kind of in the middle of this change circa July 2024. And still I've had no issues.
I even heard that Rondo Products only has one person running customer service, and had problems with customer service. I can't speak to that, as all my interactions have been positive 100%. I even just sent them the super annoying "why isn't this extremely popular item in stock" email(I was frustrated that the stock notification saying now in stock was sold out extremely quickly for this very in demand item). But Rondo emailed me the second they were back in stock AGAIN with a personal email, and finally I was able to get a game that was totally my fault I missed out on. So to me, they went above and beyond for the tiniest request.
Still, none of that speaks to the overall site, it has such a wide variety of retro and modern video game products, you'll learn so much just scrolling through their site. Plus they got a great rewards program, they give you points on your birthday, they really can add up over time, it's worth buying something from them instead of certain places.
If you have any interest in new products for old game systems, official new games for them, or mods and cables and more that bring these old systems into the modern era of 1080p+ HDTVs, then check out Castlemania. I've been a customer since around 2014.
Also, for those Retro-Bit official reproductions, for every site that sells them, there's a pre-order window of about 45 days and then Retro-Bit has everyone take down the preorders. Castlemania consistently gets these back in stock more than anywhere else Ive seen, if you're ever looking for one that's sold out.

DO NOT order from these guys.
Pre ordered Eliminate Down in November and haven’t shipped.. No response at all even after 15 email/tickets sent. Have pocketed my hard earned money. Absolute disgrace.
I will keep messaging them…
Lots of other bad reviews around on the internet so please order from another reputable company.

Why do you only respond to good reviews on here. Maybe you should reply to customers that you have taken money from

It's impossible get ahold of them if you have an issue with an outstanding order. I've filed a ticket with their Freshdesk system regarding an order update/change per the product manufacturer's instruction over 4 months ago, and I can't get a human response at all. I have genuinely never had this much of a problem simply talking to a representative about an order in any other company that does similar things; they all just have a support email and withing 48hrs I get a response. Hate to leave a review like this but I just don't know what else to do at this point.

I recommend alternatives such as Stone Age Gamer, 8bitmods, Retro game repair shop, all of whom I've also occasionally had to contact for assistance with products/order issues and have had zero issues getting a response.

Incredibly bad customer service, feel like this is a part-time company.

Made an order, tried to cancel it, no response. A week later, it ships anyways. Get it, start a return, print the label, sent it in January 18. It's now Feb. 29 and nothing from them beyond 21 automated emails sent within a couple hours after creating a support ticket. I got a DM from Castlemania Ryan on Twitter on Feb. 15 asking for my order number to take a look at the status after I started complaining on Twitter. I sent him the order number and he hasn't responded since. Have called and left messages multiple times, no response. So I have no items, did not get refunded, and can't get in touch with anyone there. They have decent products but make sure it's something you want because it seems basically like all sales are final. Hate to leave such a negative review but not really sure what else to do at this point.

I pre-ordered an item and the tracking info confirmed that it was returned to sender. I emailed and called this business for help but all they told me to do was check the tracking. I called USPS myself, opened a support ticket, and spoke with someone with USPS who confirmed it was returned to sender. I followed up with this business to updated them on my communications with USPS and they just ignored me, even after several follow-up attempts to communicate with them. If they would respond and resend me my pre-order item then I will change this review to 5 stars. But until then it is 1 star and I will not buy anything from them again.
