Never use them.... Worst Worst... THEY USE BROKERS BOOK THEIR JOB.... VERY BAD SERVICE AND CHEATER....

With my expirience they are worst service and very bad people and don't know the customer service.
I moved from CT to IL and taken more of quotes and due to followup done by Emma(work in Premier Relocations) irespective this one is not less quote I decided to go with them and I made biggest mistake.

It start with showing all the stuff I am going to sending she noted down and she told me they are going to Pick on Aug 10th 2017 and will be deliver Aug 15th 2017. And they have actual movers having lots of truck. The payment they taken as 20% at booking time 40% at time of loading your stuff in their truck and 40% at the delivery time. I gave 20% and book.

Surprise starts from day before the loading day when I got the call from "Better Rate Movers" claiming that they are going to take my packages and deliver, I confirm that I booked through Premier Relocation they said they are just broker and we are the actual who do the job and they start telling new rules which needs more money.

Again I make them have in one Confrence call and the owner of Premier was rude and he abuse me and put the phone saying that we are not going to do this job and not return your money. Then Guy from Better rate Movers name "Mike" told that we are going do the business which was promise and will delivery on time. I haven't sign the form attached where they charge during delivery by feet distance from truck to your home and Mike and the guy was agree you not need to sign this. (letter on during delivery I found they make my sign on that from which is forgery and I decided to go to put complain about this).

I moved as per plan in IL but they showed me actual picture and delayed my package so I have forced to by necessary items needs for my three kids, my mom and my wife to live with out knowing when we are getting our package. Finally I have talk with (Jason) in their customer service number(which I was calling from 10-12 days) said they are planning to delivery on Sunday or Monday (20th or 21st Aug) but they didn't send and finally keep calling them they send it on Wednesday 23rd and the Guy who came first interested to count distance feet and ask about $360 as its 300 feet from garage to flat door. Then he show me the fake signature document attached below.

Long story shot they have given me very hard time to deliver and that to be not on cheap price and one of the box got the fire inside the box I don't know how but these things are burn and damage and they have not responded to the question on reimbursement for this or tell us what happen.

Please be aware about these king of Brokage(Premier Relocation or same kind of name) and service by Better Rate Movers they all are same.

Worst or I can say no service with lots of hassle... Be Aware don't use them.... No single star for them.... Worst worst worst worst........

I had a very bad experience with this carrier. I booked my move through a broker company, who internally sub-contracted to another carrier for pickup and Better rate movers as another carrier for delivery. If I had known this before, looking at the reviews, i would have never booked. This carrier is a big fraud company. I signed up an agreement with a broker, who provided me with a huge estimate amount and i was asked not to worry and that I need to pay only by actual weight and not for estimated amount. But, Better rate movers did not have this information and demanded full payment during delivery. While asking about this, they declined ownership and responsibility by saying they don't know anything about it and I'll have to take it up with the broker and they needed full payment to offload my things, else they'll leave. In first place, they never informed me that they are going to deliver at this date and time and didn't get my availability confirmation, if not by call, neither communicated through text message, voice message or email, instead came home directly without informing and charged additional waiting charges after arguing for a long time and moreover, they demanded money order only though i was told in the beginning that personal check will be accepted and due to this more time lapsed and they increased the waiting charges while I went out to take money order and they were very arrogant and threatened to put my things in storage if i don't pay full amount plus the waiting charges and that I need to spend personal money to rent a truck and bring back things from storage. In the end, I paid for the full estimated cost and not for actual weight, as they claimed I signed a binding agreement with them. They cheated me by changing the agreement and trapped me and refused to deliver my things unless I pay them in full. Almost, I paid double the cost for my actual weight. Their manager and customer service is for their employer only and not for the customers, as they are very rude and I got nothing back in this move after interacting with them, except for lot of hassles. Stay away from this carrier and don't even think of taking a chance.

Absolutely the worst experience ever. Better Rate Movers take no responsibility for the multiple delays. The bigger issue here is that they take no responsibility as the “broker” for anything. They just pass the buck. They give multiple stories as to where your load is. I was told NY, La, and now I find out it’s been sitting in GA, the state they picked the load up in 20 days ago. Dispatch is rude (Lee), they act like I (the customer) is out of line asking for an ETA after 3 different stories. Please reconsider any involvement with this company. I will definitely share what happens with my load when this is all said and done. For now, be careful.

Let me start by saying that I was EXTREMELY hesitant about using this company because of all the awful reviews I read. Their competitive price and extremely friendly and professional representative Jason won me over in the end, and I couldn't be happier.

I moved from NYC to Houston, TX... I called the company with all the line items that I planned on moving and Jason came up with a quote. This quote was by FAR better than any other quote I received. Like most companies they included packing, loading, transport, unloading and reassembly.

Here's the thing, I don't expect anyone to pack to my standards so I did it myself. Upon, pick up the young gentlemen where quick in securing all my boxes and protecting items such as TV, sofa, tables etc. There were some items that I completely forgot to tell Jason about and the guys were gracious enough to let those items slide because I packed 11 boxes instead of the agreed upon 15. A couple of other smaller items resulted in an adjusted price to the quote.... by $50. Certainly not bad. I made sure that all this was documented so no issues would come up later.

Upon arrival, I had a storage unit ready so cannot vouch for the reassembly part, but all my boxes and items were in the same condition as when they left. Unloading was quick and efficient, not to mention they came a 2 days earlier than expected. And yes payment was due prior to unloading.

Keep in mind the guys loading are not the same as transport and unloading.

I honestly had a wonderful experience with these guys, and would certainly recommend them.

My suggestion to all the one star reviewers do your own homework and read what you sign. This way you will know what to expect and also see how you can protect yourself.

Horrible experience. Very rude customer service... It does not matter if they were or were not our moving company as they like to claim since they actually MOVED our furniture and they were the ones we had to deal with about our furniture. They were RUDE and UNRELIABLE. I got hung up on countless times for simply asking where my furniture was since it never came when I was told it would. It is clear they are money hungry and don't care about their customers or the job they signed up for. I'll never advise anyone to use Better Rate Movers or to use any brokers who are even affiliated with them. They are HORRIBLE.

We just recently used the company , HORRIBLE experience. We selected them base don their delivery date, they changed it on us and said they could not honor it. Then it took 3 weeks on constant calls from us asking where our items were, they kept telling us the items were in transit..they were actually sitting in a warehouse and hadn't moved since the day they left the pick up. THEY FLAT OUT LIE TO YOU. They work with a shady company called Better Rate Movers, look them up online and BEWARE ! The operations manager is unprofessional and did not honor ANY comittments. Completely unprofessional company and DISHONEST. Can't wait to share all the documents with the BBB.

I moved from NY TO LA... Do not use these movers. The initial experience was three men arrived and picked up 15 of my boxes. The main man tried to haggle me for a tip with out even doing any of the work. I packed everything, all they had to do was pick it up and go. He then charged me money for 2 boxes at $45. He also used my bubble wrap and tape so I was confused on where the price came from. When I asked for a reciept, he fumbled around and asked me to record it. He wrote it on his material end, but it felt very sketchy.
I was told delivery would be May 16 weekend 2017. We are now on June 2, 2017. I still have yet to recieve my delivery. First the truck was broken down in Phoenix. Which it happens, but no one called me to let me know why things where delayed. I waited and reached out to see what was going on and they casually said the truck was broken down. I would expect a phone call. Even the main office is combative, if your doing a service expect people to be upset when the service is not up to par.
NOW WE GO TO.
There driver is not available, and the one time that he was he was rude and not able to give an honest answer of expected delivery. He scheduled a delivery last week and then when I called to confirm the following day, I was told he wasn't even in the state yet. Now I am up waiting for my delivery again that was scheduled today at 7am to 9am. When I called the offices they are clueless on the were abouts of our things and driver. I also called the number the driver left and this man got very angry because he claims he is not the driver anymore.
Now I am expecting things to be broken or missing after seeing these reviews.
I originally went through a company called USA TOP MOVERS that had a reputable response, but I did not know they broker out to these folks. USA TOP MOVERS will also be receiving a poor review. If I realized they were to broker out I would have looked at the reviews of BETTER RATE MOVERS and say NO!
STILL WAITING ON OUR STUFF, thinking we may have to file a claim or police report. I also plan to file on BBB if I dont receive my stuff soon.

I used Better Rate Movers for my family. I feel the price was reasonable, and they sent 4 nice guys who did the job in an efficient and pleasant manner. Had a lot of sensitive stuff and nothing was broken. Great job and will recommend.
