Called with a concern regarding mother's leg...worried about dvt...waited 5 hours and no call back. I called 5 times...2 of those I was "accidently" disconnected...i was assured I would get a call back...going on hour 6. This is unacceptable care. Will be considering switching providers...

Waited forever to speak to someone on the phone to cancel an appointment I made for my husband. Did not realize this doctor did not take my insurance. The person I spoke to on the phone with was beyond rude and talked down to me for booking an appointment god forbid not realizing they took almost every blue cross blue shield plan besides mine. I had asked the person on the phone if any doctors at that location took my insurance and all he did was circle back to me booking with "knowing" the provider I initially booked did not take my insurance. Avoid this place, I used to go here and its gone way downhill. Never going back here and will probably never return to advocate.

Excellent healthcare facility located at 77 Rand Road, Des Plaines, IL 60016. There is a MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) near this Advocate Outpatient Center. Many people do not need a full service hospital for their maladies. This center is strategically located to save the patient time and money while delivering superior health care.

Pure trash. Started as a new patient in April 2023. Doctor Govindan blatantly had no interest in helping me become healthy in ANY way. Never suggest a mammogram, nor a pap, She's a pill pusher, don't listen, and have told me several times that she's done all she can do for me then suggested that I find another doctor after tyring to provoke me to become angry with her because she was mad that I wouldn't let her record our visit and told me that I was rambling (I've been having severe back pain). I have put in 2 complaints about her, with absolutely no follow up from anyone!!
The next doc I switched to was doc O. She wasn't much better in her approach to an issue that ive been having since june. Very condescending and useless as well. Ive found ppl who listen/read and have suggested surgery for my ongoing issues that I didn't get help for with any of these ppl. Goong here has been a complete waste from april through November. Thanks for prolonging my pain!!
This whole advocate facility seems to be useless.

Needed urgent care they say they are at capacity and there are 3 people in there. Unacceptable. Maybe 4 or 5 cars in the lot

They refuse to take my son in because we were 10 mins late. I had an appointment for 2 kids and refuse to take them both. I drove almost an hour and waited over a month for this appointment. And BTW They never take us in at the time of our appointment so it's ok for them to be late but not for the patient. I been taking both my kids here for a long time. They lost 2 patients over 10 minutes. I hope it was worth it.

Totally regret not reading reviews before going to this place. Believe it was Dr Miori… she’s terrible. I felt like I could not get a word out… literally would not listen to a word I had to say. I felt like I was on the worst speed date ever and I’m sickened to know, people are putting their well being and even lives in the hands of such an incompetent!

I would give 0 stars if it was possible. As a matter of fact I would give -100 stars if possible. This place is a joke, it’s everything wrong with healthcare today. Don’t ever get sick and expect to get an appointment. Don’t ever have a sick kid and expect your kid to be seen. Minimum wait is 1 week and other doctors don’t have appointments until May of 2023. And don’t ever complain because believe me you will be retaliated against heavily. MyChart? What a joke, they view your messages and then ignore them. Administration? LOL, they are all in on it. They must encourage the bad behavior. To be pushed into an immediate care or ER every time you or your child is sick is beyond my comprehension. What is the point of a primary care doctor?!! So, you want to drop dead before seeing a doctor- then this is the practice for you. FYI, they are actively being investigated for Fraud,Waste, Abuse and Neglect. This practice needs to be shut down before a patient pays the price of their incompetence with their life.
