It couldn’t be worse than this. The way story goes is....
I had a trip from Chicago to Ann Arbor today afternoon. Bus was 10 min late. When all got in, we realized that the air conditioning doesn’t work. Sun fell inside the bus through the windows and it got really hot. After 1.5 hour driving when many people started complaining, driver gave a talk to the passengers which I could hardly hear it at the back. It turns out she had told we can keep going for three more hours to Ann Arbor or we can return to the Chicago and change the bus!! Since no one including me wants to lose 3 hours at least, we all agreed to keep going.
After another two hours driving, she stopped the bus for gas and 15 minutes rest (as she said at first). Believe it or not, she made us to wait for one hour!! She was so angry and rude, When I asked her why...she didn’t even turn her head to look at me and didn’t hear a word from her.
We still have one more hour to Ann Arbor and I hope everything goes well. However I prepared myself for everything!!

Due to severe weather all my flights got cancelled, at that time Megabus in CHICAGO was only running which helped me to go to my destination.Thank you Megabus. Only thing I did not like is NO waiting area, so we were waiting for bus for 40 mins in snowfall. I wish they will consider to provide shelter area for Megabus Passengers from Chicago on W Polk street.

Actually they dont deserve not even half star for the awful service that i am receiving today from them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ? my first time traveling with mega bus, and wt*? I am traveling from Indianapolis to Chicago and I SWEAR my bus was scheduled to be there at 6:05pm and i got there 20 minutes early, they had me waiting till 00:47am, COULD YOU BELIEVE THAT? i want my money back, for real, they cannot do it, at all!!! I am very upset with this company! I heard good things about this company, but my experience is being very stressful, we had to stop on one gas station, and at some times she just stoped on the side of the road( i have evidence). Just to make sure the company do some about it: on the bus from Indianápolis to Chicago schedule for 6:05pm of the day oct05 i am experiencing the WORST SERVICE I EVER HAD WITH A TRAVELING COMPANY IN MY WHOLE LIFE! What a shy Megabus? Greyhound doesn’t it! At all.

This station deserves half star. Whatever made me change bus from greyhound was a terrible mistake. Please don't repeat my mistake. This is not a station, not them a bus proper bus stop with seats. It's a bus stand sad I have to wait long for my bus. Sweet.

Worst people worst bus service. I have a booking from Mega bus stop Chicago to Cincinnati. I reached there on time and the bus conductor didn’t allowed me in as I had 2 bags. I said I am ready to pay extra amount but she was such an idiot that she said book online. I called the mega bus to book one more luggage on my ticket but they said it can’t be done. In -10 degree C weather that conductor left me without any regret. I requested her 100 times in 5 minutes.

Finally I called mega bus to complaint about this rude behavior but they said no refund and no complaints can be registered. Now I am waiting on greyhound bus station for greahound bus. They are much better and good bus service.

Recommendation: Never book your ticket from Chicago bus stop through mega bus. They don’t even have shade area to sit and wait. Also there behavior is so bad that you will regret what have you done. I hate mega bus I ll never ever book another ticket through mega bus and recommend others too not to trust these people. They should be send to jail.

The bus is nice and clean the drive is smooth , we stopped for 50 minutes so everyone got a chance to eat and use the restroom. But the driver ....I said hi because he came to the upstairs and was looking around and he completely ignored it and said you need to take your phone off speaker phone . Just rude my phone wasn’t even loud there was another woman on the bus who was on the phone too but nothing was said to her . I don’t really care about the speaker phone thing but the guy could of been more polite no one was rude to him or anything! But other thank that I have no complaints

I was very worried after reading these reviews, and am happy to say that I did NOT experience barely any of the problems others did.
There IS wifi. There IS an outlet for your phone. There IS a bathroom, that isn't terrible & both my drivers were nice.

The only thing I can agree on is where the stop is for Chicago (Polk st). There is literally no place to be covered, no bathroom, no pickup for rideshares, and not super safe. If this is changed, I'd have nothing bad to say.

I'd give 1 star for customer support. It's like you are talking to a robot, reading off a screen. You will definitely never be able to speak to a manager either.

The fares are better than greyhound, so I'd say try it out. I'm glad I did

Megabus abandoned us and about 50 other people with their luggage in Chicago on Sunday night and never took any responsibility. We waited almost 4 hours, stuck along with other families and even a little 2 year old girl to finally be told by another passenger that a supervisor said the bus wasn't coming anymore and there was no replacement coming. Pictures are accurate, you will be waiting just down the street from a strip club with no shade/cover and no seats. Your customer service still never even told us outright so we could start making other plans to get home! Just kept telling everyone there that dispatch couldn't confirm anything. Absolutely terrible customer service and honestly just being disgusting to your fellow man to abandon people like that with no help or communication. I wish I could put negative stars and plan on telling anybody that will listen about this so they don't make the same mistake we did. When we finally left, many people were still stuck there with dead or dying phones and still no answers.
