I came to Sandy’s Beachwear with the intention of finding the perfect suit and not only did I find one, but I found two that I really loved! Lee was super helpful and took her time to help me with the style and fit that I wanted. I have bigger breasts and bathing suit shopping has always been quite the chore. It was not a chore this time thanks to Sandy’s. 10/10 highly recommended Sandy’s and will be a returning customer!

I normally do not review businesses but after the experience I had at Sandi’s Beachwear at Atlantic Beach, I felt compelled to do so. I have visited Atlantic Beach all of my life and each summer have frequently shopped at Sandi’s. On June 26, I purchased $179 worth of merchandise from the store. After a few days, I realized that I could not use one of the tops so I decided that on my next visit, I would exchange it. Since I do not live there, I searched the receipt for the return policy only to find that there was not one except for bathing suits, which was not what I purchased. I assumed the return period was 30 days like many other businesses. On my next beach visit, I returned the top that I did not need and the salesperson said that the transaction was older than 2 weeks and she would need to get the owner. When the owner came out, I explained that I was not aware of the return policy because it was not printed on the receipt. She thought it was but could not find it either saying that in the past it was printed on there. Then, she searched the wall behind her for posters and finally found a line that was written in about a 12 point font that stated that returns could be made within 2 weeks. She also said to me “Did you ask what the return policy is.” At the time of my purchase, I was not planning to return anything. She finally said she would fulfill the exchange but would discount the top I had recently purchased 20% because it was now on sale. I showed her the receipt that showed exactly how much I paid but that was all she would do. I could not believe the poor customer service shown to me. Whether they care or not, they lost 2 customers who have shopped there for many, many years, all over about $12.00 because my sister, who lives at Atlantic Beach, will no longer be a patron either.
