You can’t ever count on someone answering the phone if you need something here . Just call and call and not one person ever gets the phone but if you go in to the location there’s always people standing up at the front counter. Placed an order for two parts and 4 1/2 weeks go buy and no one can see where it’s at or anything . Then get told we will get the tracking number and call you back and once again no call back and no one answers the phone all day . Gave up on this place and Called TrailSaw mowers and they had to order it as well except they received the parts two days later . Not 4 1/2 weeks. Definitely found my new spot

Went in to get the final persuasion to buy a $2k 21” SCAG PUSH mower….went in three times to be exact. After not having one put together the first time and the obvious serious interest on my part, the third time in, the mower was still not assembled. The young man at the counter was nice enough, just didn’t care enough to sell me that mower that day. Granted, day one was a Saturday with not a lot of time left, so I even said no biggie, it’s almost closing time and wouldn’t want them to do that for me. He said by Monday it would be done. I said great. I waited until after midday on Monday, went in and nope. Decided to go in just one more time (next day)-now admittingly to see if they cared enough to actually get it put together for me….NOPE. An older gentleman stepped up to the counter as I was walking out this last time. He hadn’t been there for the last two conversations with the younger gentleman’s promise to have one ready for me, the next day, then the next day, again. The older gentleman sounded a bit defensive, but said he’d have one together in 45 minutes. By this time, it was too late. I said frustratingly, that’s okay, I’m good. He noticeably scoffed as if he was doing me a favor by assembling a $2k push mower. The overall demeanor of the older gentleman felt like it didn’t matter if he sold it to me or not at all and is the main reason for this review. To be honest, I’m not a salesman, but I would’ve insisted that it be put together before the customer left my sight DAY ONE….NOPE, not for Clermont Mowers. That’s okay, they insisted I spend my money elsewhere, but more importantly, lost faith in having what I thought for sure (and wanted) would be a great local-hometown relationship that I could rely on for many years to come. Instead, I’ll get used to driving a bit further to the competitor for any future lawn care product needs.

I just wanted to take a minute to give a great review of Clermont mowers. I had a bad experience with stuart lawn and garden, which you can read my review on theirs. But after having dealt with that other company, i just wanted to say how pleased i was with the service over the phone i recieved from their staff. Knowledgeable, friendly, and stuck to their word on price and shipping. My parts arrived within the time they said and the price was quoted with totals beforehand. Thank you for helping me get the parts i needed.
