Tom's is such a great place! We have bought a washer and a drier from him and both of them work beautifully. The washer, we bought a year ago. We've run 6 to 8 loads a week through it and it runs like brand new to this day. The drier puts out excellent heat and it is so quiet while operating that from ten feet away it can barely be heard. He also has a six month warranty which is wonderful.

He went above and beyond to help us and I will one hundred percent go back when the time comes for another washer and drier set. I highly, HIGHLY recommend him!!!

This store, and it’s owner Tom, are phenomenal!!! He restores washers and dryers and the one I bought makes me happy every time I use it as it cleans the clothes so much better than my prior washing machine! As it is an older one, it works SO much better!! He is a great person!!!!!

BUYER BEWARE! I went to Toms Appliance in Andrews N.C.for a washer. He was very kind and talked a big game about how he repairs old washers and dryers a puts them out for sale. I bought a washer which he gave me a 6 mo. warranty. After 3 mo. It broke. He offered to repair it. When I went back to check on my washer he said it was my fault that it broke. He stated that I put too many clothes in it to wash. I never put in more than a normal load. I asked him my options. He told me I could buy another one for $40 more than the previous one or I could take the old one back that he repaired but stating the same thing would happen again. I ended up taking a chance and buying another one. The second one lasted 1 1/2 mo. and it started having all kinds of issues. Called Tom told him what was going on and was told to bring it back. I have to drive around 70 mi. round trip to get to him, but again I brought the second one back. Again the issues I was having was my fault for one reason or another. All Tom did was apologize and offer to repair the second washer or I could could pay him another $40 and pick out another one. If I did he was only honoring the original warranty which had 6 weeks left on it. I declined and left the washer with him and cut my loses. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH TOM’S APPLIANCE AGAIN and I would recommend you don’t either.
