My confidence in Dr. Bloome and his team was an important factor when deciding to have ankle replacement. Dr. Bloome has been my surgeon for years taking care of a number of problems caused by past injuries and aging, and he has been successful in alleviating my pain without the need for surgery, or pain relievers, all this time. He listens, answers your questions, and advises with sincerity. It has been two weeks since my surgery, and all is going well. Although I have never had surgery, I felt at ease due to the professionalism exhibited by Dr. Bloome and his team.

Dr. Bloome has something so many physicians lack these days - incredible bedside manner. He was empathetic and solution-oriented without the appointment feeling rushed. If you have the misfortune of an orthopedic injury I cannot recommend this practice enough.

He goes into great detail about what he will be looking for before going into surgery. I’m under workers comp and most Dr treat you terribly when you’re on workers comp but not Dr Bloom and all his staff. Especially his post off care team in the cast room. I don’t remember his name but his last name is King. I’m hoping this will be my last and only surgery but if I had to do it again this is the place! Great job Fondren Orthopedics!

Facilities well maintained and state-of-the-art orthopedic capabilities. Admin staff was professional and efficient (minimal wait time with on-line check-in) and medical staff competent, genuinely interested in developing sensible treatment plan, and not rushing to the next patient.
